Help shape what we build next
Beta access is available to TekLan VPN clients at no extra cost. Test upcoming releases, tell us what works and help us catch problems before wider release.
How to join the Beta Programme
Most betas are open to every TekLan VPN client straight away:
- iPhone, iPad and Mac: join on TestFlight.
- Android: become a tester on Google Play.
- Windows: download the Windows beta installer.
- Amazon Fire devices: beta builds are sent by email, so add the Beta access add-on below.
Get beta emails
The free Beta access add-on tells you when new beta builds are ready and is required for Amazon beta builds:
- Log in to your account on our website.
- Navigate to Services > View Add-ons.
- Find the “Beta access” add-on and click “Order”. It is free.
Join Android Beta
Join the Android beta directly through Google Play:
- Open the Google Play beta page while signed in with the Google account you use on your Android device.
- Select Become a tester.
- Wait a few minutes for enrolment to process, then update TekLan VPN from Google Play.
Once updated, you’ll receive early previews of new features. Feedback is always welcome.
Join Amazon Appstore Beta
We still provide direct downloads for Amazon beta builds:
The Amazon testing suite does not currently fit our release process, so beta builds are supplied directly.
Follow the installation guide included with the beta email.
Join Windows Beta
The new TekLan VPN app for Windows is in beta and available as a direct download:
- Download the beta installer.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts. The beta installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may show a warning: select More info, then Run anyway. Allow the installation when Windows asks for administrator permission.
- Open TekLan VPN, sign in with your client-account email address and password, then choose a server and connect.
We’ll notify you by email once the Windows Store beta is live for automatic updates.
Join Apple TestFlight Beta
The TekLan VPN beta for iPhone, iPad and Mac is open on TestFlight. The Mac app needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- Install TestFlight from the App Store or Mac App Store.
- Open the join link below on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- Tap Accept, then Install to add the beta app.
You only need to join once. TestFlight installs new beta builds as they are released.

These are the current public releases, last checked on 24 September 2026. Beta builds are newer and change often, so TestFlight, Google Play or your beta email shows the exact build you are testing.

Test with purpose
Beta releases let clients try upcoming app, security and performance improvements before wider release. Builds are supplied through Google Play, TestFlight, a direct Windows download or by email for Amazon devices, depending on the platform.
Tell us what worked, what did not and what felt unclear. That feedback goes directly into improving the final release for every TekLan VPN client.
